Asthma camps are a great place for kids and teens with asthma to have fun, meet friends, and learn about how to manage their asthma symptoms.
They are staffed with healthcare providers who understand asthma and can handle the medical needs of people with asthma.

"Camp Breathe Away" is taking place at the Brother Brannan Centre in Salmonier, Newfoundland, from July 11- 17, 2010. It is open everyone in the province and accepts campers ages 7 to 13. Organizers will do their best to arrange for transportation to and from camp.

Mississauga Parks and Recreation offers asthma camps in March break and in summer:
Active Airways Asthma Camp
March 15 to March 19, 2010 and
August 30 to September 3, 2010.
Active Airways Asthma Camp provides participants with the education and support they require to successfully manage their asthma in a fun, safe, camp environment, which encourages physical activities. A certified asthma educator provides instruction which is reinforced through fun, active games and craft activities. Enthusiastic sports instructors will involve campers in sports and swimming activities with the guidance and support of the certified asthma educator.
